Welcome back to My Seminary Life. Today, we return to our ongoing series Experiential Preaching where I talk about a sermon I recently preached and what element I used to bring the congregation into the sermon in the moment. Today's message was out of 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 with the focus on prayer. In the episode, I talk about how I preached a short message so I could get out of the way and let the people pray for the needs of the church. I also talked about the aftermath of how the Spirit moved and how I was also humbled in the process as well.
